Something to hold on to / 2019 / Sculpture-Performance / Collaboration with Rosa Sijben / Presented at the exhibition In Practice: Other Objects, curated by Gee Wesley at SculptureCenter, Queens, NY (USA)

This work is both a series of objects and a condition for their display. The objects—haptic, pleasurable, curious, and abstract forms—are offered to visitors to hold while they explore the exhibition. These objects can give visitors a feeling of groundedness. If there is a moment of doubt, or confusion, at least they have something to hold on to.
